Dr. Robert Valentine

With nearly 20 years of veterinary experience, Dr. Robert Valentine’s passion for animal health has brought him from the animal shelters of Southern California to the jungles of Asia. A graduate of California Lutheran University and the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Valentine first completed a veterinary medical and surgical internship with the U.S. Army prior to 7 years of focus on military working dog health. With the transition to private practice, he enjoys a focus on preventative medical care for the companion animal and establishing a trust-based relationship with both owners and patients- ensuring they know they are in capable and kind hands

Dr. Carter Burkey Sr.

Carter L. Burkey Sr. is a native Chester man who graduated from Thomas Dale High School in 1976. He continued to further his education at Virginia Polytech Institute (VPI) in 1980 with his Bachelor of Science. He then received a Masters in Microbiology and Immunology from the MCV/ VCU receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from VPI IN 1988.
